Bill - Thank you for this article. As a recently retired military member (31 years), I'm new to Washington State and want to be involved with the Republican party. This article provided some great history regarding laws and how we go to where we are now. We must stop this ridiculous idea that 3-6 counties control the other 43 in Washington State. I for one, would love to see our state move towards an electoral college for each county that way each county has its own unique representation, but that is a stretch. Again thank you!
