Winning Elections in a New Political Era
Educate. Advocate. Mitigate. Activate!
In today’s political era, running for office, especially as a Republican or Conservative, is not for most. It requires hard work and bravery. The candidate must be very tough and willing to hold a firm belief in the Republican/GOP Party Platform, knowing the opposition may likely censor and slander them—with the Democrat Leftist operative controlled media on their side.
Much of the Democrat opposition are not just Progressives and Socialists, but are full-blown Marxists and Communists working to destroy America, the Constitution, family values, and our basic freedoms via governmental powers. Many of them believe Republican and Conservative thoughts, beliefs, values, and politics are not only wrong but are “hateful.”
Leftist Dems not only want to control the government and its citizens but are also attempting to criminalize First Amendment rights to free speech and redefine Conservative speech as “Violence.” This is Authoritarianism and Totalitarianism, the current new era form of government which is restricting our individual freedoms and that seeks to subordinate all aspects of individual life to the authority of the state.
SO HOW TO WIN BACK OUR COUNTRY AND STATE?
NEW WINNING LEADERSHIP: August 12 in Olympia, the Washington State Republican Party (WSRP) State Committee elected State Representative Jim Walsh as the new WSRP Chairman! Jim flipped Legislative District 19 from D to R by about 20 points, two election cycles in a row! Before Walsh, LD 19 was a longtime Democrat district for half a century! Jim Walsh is a fantastic grassroots leader, very hard worker, and proven winner! With Jim at the helm, WINNING is possible throughout the state!
Additionally, if Republican and Conservative candidates are to win elections, the GOP (EARLY-ON) must get behind the best candidate that CAN WIN for their particular race. We have this opportunity at the upcoming Washington State Republican Party 2024 State Convention, April 18 - 20, in Spokane. The WSRP will be doing something quite unique by having an “ENDORSEMENT CONVENTION,” a bold first-time effort that represents a major cultural shift for the Republican Party. This is a Convention you will not want to miss!
The goal is to have 2,600 + Grassroots Delegates from all 39 counties around the state to vote and pick their best choice in each of the 10 Congressional races, 9 statewide offices and 1 US Senate race in 2024.
OF NOTE: Of the 9 Washington statewide executive offices, this is the first time in over 50 years that 4 offices will be “open” seats and have no incumbents, they include: Governor, Attorney General, Commissioner of Public Lands and Insurance Commissioner.
Thoroughly vetted candidates will be giving speeches and taking questions at the event. After each one is picked, for the best chance to win, the Republican Party must fully unify, and support that candidate and their campaign. The candidate must support the party platform, know all applicable issues, and be able to speak truth about the issues, while articulating a winning message.
The candidate must also be willing to work each day to get the vote out for their campaign, including: Appointing a good (if possible experienced) campaign manager; meeting regularly with campaign volunteers; door belling; phone canvassing; organizing; speaking at meet and greet events, campaign rallies and fundraisers; and utilizing professional marketing tools—logo, website, social media, etc.
The candidate should be visible and active in the community, e.g., volunteer, meet with constituents on a regular basis and consistently be an advocate for important community and conservative causes. All races are different, and the candidate needs to have a strategic plan specific for the particular race and be flexible and willing to change—and do whatever is needed to win the race!
BALLOT COLLECTION AND BALLOT PROTECTION IS ABSOLUTELY VITAL!
The RNC, WSRP, and WA State County GOP parties are now focusing more on the "Electoral Process" than ever before. For years, Republicans have been focused on banning ballot harvesting, attempting to stop the Dems. That strategy has not worked, and now Republicans are changing course.
Washington State law does not specify whether someone may or may not return mail-in ballots on behalf of voters. However, it is allowed and for all intents and purposes it is legal. Democrats have been doing it in WA State and using it to their advantage for decades. Ballot harvesting is where Dems (most often) hire third parties to go out and pick up ballots where Democrat voters are registered to live. This gives Dems a huge built-in advantage regarding a large portion of their “Harvested” voter base.
Many voters are apathetic about voting and do not vote because they don’t feel like putting in the effort to vote, or because it is simply not a priority. Some voters have given up hope because they believe their vote doesn’t count, and nothing seems to change to make life better. So, when someone they trust comes to their door to get their ballot, they give it to them.
Advantages of in-person, hand-collecting of voters’ ballots: 1) Opportunity to make a face to face voter contact, 2) can verify legitimate voters at the address on record for enhanced ballot security, 3) allows the chance to find illegal registered voters at the address for voter challenges to help auditors clean the voter rolls, and 4) thanking them for participating in restoring the USA to the Democratic Republic we all cherish!
To compete, we must use every available lawful tool and method in our arsenal. I prefer the term “Ballot Collecting” and / or “Ballot Protecting” - We are protecting the sacred vote / ballot of the legal registered voter. To WIN in the current era, the implementation of organized ballot collecting is an absolute must!
