The 2023 legislative session is now complete, and the radical Democrat carnage has left Washington State much worse off and totally unrecognizable. To witness these terrible, and many times unconstitutional, laws being rammed through (sometimes without public hearings) is beyond belief and only adds to the new levels of unprecedented Democrat corruption and very dangerous and horrifying policies absolutely destroying our state. Here are just a few examples:

5599 legalizes the kidnappings of children, takes children away from their parents, allows for the harboring of minors and forbids parents to protect their children and is blatant child abuse. It gives permission to a shelter to NOT notify the parents or guardians of a minor child who has run away seeking sex change treatments or an abortion.

The bill report states that a shelter can be classified as ‘any person, unlicensed youth shelter, or runaway and homeless youth program. SB 5599 divides families by the state becoming the guardians (new parents) of children. The bill removes parental custody rights with no due process and protection of a child custody hearing.

The law makes state licensed youth shelters act as accomplices in castrating children without their parent's knowledge, and mandates tax-payer dollars to pay for the expensive radical surgeries and procedures.

If a child ends up at a youth shelter in WA state and expresses the desire to change their gender, claiming that their parents are against it, then the youth shelter is legally obligated to NOT notify the parents of the child’s location and facilitate their new world of trans-genderism. And it’s not limited to WA state residences. The bill allows any young confused runaway child from another state to make their way to WA to get castrated by the government without their parents ever being notified.

THERE IS NO AGE OR GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTION WITH THIS LAW!

Not only does this allow young kids to irreversibly change their bodies and be medicalized, but it also facilitates child TRAFFICKING and will make Washington a nanny state.

This law is absolutely unacceptable in ALL aspects. Expect a “Reject 5599 Legalized Kidnapping” Citizen Referendum!

5768 authorizes the department of corrections to acquire, sell, deliver, distribute, and dispense abortion medications using tax-payer dollars. A very dangerous law that removes medical Dr. oversite. Pills to abort a baby could cause a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy.

1240 will ban semiautomatic pistols, rifles and what Dems see as "assault weapons." This had no public hearing and bans the most commonly owned and lawfully possessed firearms, including some pistols and shotguns, which are the most popular self-defense weapons in America. It violates State and Federal Constitutions and won't have any real effect on gun violence. Data shows that violent criminals are not affected by gun control legislation. This law punishes law abiding citizens and obliterates 2nd Amendment rights. Republican proposed amendments were blocked. Expect court challenges that may take years to be resolved at taxpayer expense!
 

5078 creates new restrictions on the manufacture, sale, distribution, import and use of firearms by the firearm industry and also violates the 2nd Amendment!

5352 is concerning police vehicular pursuits, but does not go far enough. PRO-LAWLESSNESS DEMS NEVER GAVE THIS BILL A PUBLIC HEARING! Dems handcuffed law enforcement officers with the crazy Pro-criminal laws passed in 2021. Auto theft is at an all-time high and crime itself is at an all-time high as a result. We need to give our police officers the full ability to pursue criminals, and this watered-down bill WON'T DO IT!

Committing crime in Washington state is NOT okay without consequences. Our citizens, businesses, law enforcement agencies, and communities demand we take more action. Republicans proposed amendments that would allow needed changes. Dems voted them all down!

1324 if you are under age 18 and commit a major crime, i.e., shoot someone, etc. the court is now prohibited from including juvenile court convictions when considering sentencing for crimes committed as an adult. Dems don’t want under age 18 actions to impact over age 18 actions and future jail time. But registering to vote at age 16 and voting at age 17 1/2 is just fine.

DEMOCRATS CODIFY ELECTION FRAUD INTO WA STATE ELECTIONS

5112 will eliminate transparency and restrict Public Record Request (PRR) election information available to the public.

5112 also takes away dates of birth of the registered voter and replaces with only the year of birth on any PRR which makes proving fraudulent duplicate voters virtually impossible! By design this Election Fraud Bill also makes voter challenges and cleaning the voter rolls much more difficult! 

Currently, voters are automatically registered to vote when they obtain a driver’s license or ID card in the state, unless they opt-out at the time of service. But 5112 WILL NOT allow someone to opt-out at the time of service. If they do not wish to register, or have their registration information updated, they must opt-out by mail, requiring a response by mail, to opt out of registration. 

Also, this law will declare every government agency employee that registers voters to be “election officials” even if they are health care plan providers.

By automatically registering everyone to vote at the DOL and other State Gov. offices, it will further corrupt the voter rolls by over-inflating them. These voters are shared with *ERIC (a 3rd party national centralized data base) and can be used (in other states) by nefarious actors adjusting the name and / or mailing address ever so slightly. These types of bills are appearing all over the U.S., Colorado, etc. and are coming from the national level, many are written by advocates of Voting Machine Vendors, Nat. Assoc of SOS / Auditors, Special Interest Lobby Groups, etc.

* Electronic Voter Registration Database (ERIC)

* ERIC Headquarters published address is 1201 Connecticut Ave NW Ste 600 in WA DC, where there are no employees, no servers, no real ERIC presence of any kind. The location is operated by a company that offers virtual workspaces across the country and rents space by the day.

* ERIC is a private corporation, registered in Delaware. As such, ERIC has absolutely no accountability to member states who surrender their rights and autonomy when they offload their duties to third-party entities.

* ERIC was founded by left-wing activist David Becker with seed money from George Soros.

* ERIC requires member states to solicit eligible but unregistered voters.

* ERIC does not require member states to remove unqualified voters.
50% of states using ERIC have more registered voters than residents of voting age (Non-ERIC member states do a better job of maintaining their voter records).

* The ERIC agreement requires states to indemnify and hold harmless not only ERIC but all ERIC’s undisclosed and unregulated contractors, subcontractors and agents.

* ERIC is NOT transparent and NOT subject to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

* ERIC data is exempt from Sunshine Laws (laws open to the public).

The ERIC False Narrative! After 7 states dumped the Leftist-controlled ERIC, its supporters started selling a false narrative that there are no alternatives to ERIC. What does ERIC do? It claims to find people who move from one state to another. It claims to find dead voters. So what?  That’s not where the fraud is.  Election fraud is baked into mail-in ballot voting.

5459 Public Record Requests (PRR) for voter registration data base to the Sec. of State (SOS) rather than County Auditors. This takes power away from the counties and centralizes it by giving it to the state. PRR's exempting Cast Vote Records (CVR’s), and ANY security audits, security risk assessments, or security test results, relating to physical security or cybersecurity of election operations or infrastructure; portions of records, manuals, or documentation containing technical details and information regarding election infrastructure, which include the systems, software, and networks that support the election process; voter signatures on ballot return envelopes, ballot declarations, and signature correction forms, including the original documents, copies, and electronic images.

THIS LAW REDUCES MORE ELECTION PROCESS TRANSPARENCY AND COVERS UP POTENTIAL ELECTION FRAUD CRIMES! Also allows the Office of the Sec. of State (OSOS) to rewrite all elections Title 29A RCW’s and related WAC's!

5208 IS ANOTHER ELECTION FRAUD BILL: Will allow anyone to only use the last 4 digits of their social security number to register to vote online. No ID verification required except an oath. Personal data is easily found or hacked online by criminals and this info could be easily used to register and vote for people unknowingly.

WA STATE DEMOCRAT CONTROLLED LEGISLATURE NEW ELECTIONS LAWS ELIMINATE HONEST AND TRANSPARENT ELECTIONS

5082 Abolishes Advisory Votes. Currently voters get an opportunity to weigh in on taxes that were passed by the Legislature without their direct approval. "Advisory Votes" are often the only time voters hear of a new tax. Since 2012, advisory votes on 38 tax increases have appeared on the ballot. Why would Democrats pass a bill that would abolish advisory votes? Perhaps it is because most every time the voters get an opportunity to go on the record, they overwhelmingly VOTE AGAINST RAISING TAXES BY HUGE MARGINS. In truth Dems just don't like what the voters have to say, and falsely claim (without ANY supporting data) that banning advisory votes would encourage more voter participation. In truth this eliminates Democracy. The answer is to listen to the voters instead of stealing their voice...What a Concept!

After Inslee signs the new 2023 election bills into law, then the Washington Administration Code (WAC) Title 434 changes related to Title 29A RCW’s will be re-written by the office of the WA State Secretary of State (OSOS) Division of Elections. Just like last year with amendments to WAC 434-335-260, which took away ALL potential third party company audits and reviews, this administrative agency act is guaranteed to further policies that eliminate transparency which help codify and hide potential election fraud.

The Revised Code of Washington (RCW) is the compilation of all permanent laws now in force, and the WAC’s are the regulations of executive branch agencies issued by authority of statutes. Like legislation and the Constitution, regulations are a source of primary law in Washington State. The WAC codifies the regulations and arranges them by subject or agency. WAC’s interpret the RCW’s to codify what leftists really wanted their legislators to mean, and put it into practice. This process takes several months. Legislators will be surprised at how new changes are applied in 2024 including PRRs and voting registration lists.

1181 a climate change hoax law that updates the Growth Management Act to include "Climate Change" goals. Dept. of Commerce to publish a set of actions for counties and cities to reduce gas emissions and miles traveled in vehicles. Counties and cities mandated to identify actions they will take to reduce emissions and miles traveled. Requires DOT to publish an annual summary of per capita vehicle miles traveled, and other departments to address climate change impacts, WA State estimated to spend $6.3 M in 2023-2025, $4.2 M in 2025-2027, and $3.5 M in 2027-2029 on this ridiculous Dem narrative legislation. Local governments are estimated to be forced to spend $19.5 M in 2023-2025, $11.6 M in 2025-2027, and $25.4 M in 2027-2029.

Under State Democrat control, spending has skyrocketed. Dems have raised many existing taxes and created entirely new ones adding to out-of-control inflation! But it is never enough. Dems have increased spending by more than double since 2013 and now want a 20 % + increase in the next budget and a huge new property tax increase! 

5770 WILL TRIPLE property taxes as people are already being priced out of their homes. Dems insist on punishing families and individuals with more crushing taxes by removing the 1% limit on property tax increases: increasing the tax to 3%.

Dems love going against the will of voters when it comes to tax increases. Voters said NO to a state income tax, so Dems circumvented them and passed a unconstitutional capital gains income tax. Voters endorsed a law that limits the growth of property taxes to no more than 1% per year, so Dems are ending it altogether. 

Unfortunately, Republicans in the Legislature have virtually no say in what is happening with the budget and other horrible new legislation. Merciless Democrats have completely shut the GOP out of negotiations. 

Dem legislators have had many chances to reform our state’s flawed emergency powers law after years of Inslee abusing those powers with unconstitutional covid lockdowns and life-threatening vaccination mandates. Republicans have put forth realistic needed reforms with 1535 & 5063, establishing balanced legislative oversight of gubernatorial powers during a declared emergency. But Dems refuse to act! 

After Inslee gets done signing their atrocious bills making them official laws, we can find out about any potential line-item veto opinions. Next 2024 legislative session, proposed bills that were declared "dead" will come back to life and more new proposals will be submitted.  

SOLUTIONS:

WA State Senate and House Leadership should consider drastic changes. J.T. Wilcox stepping down as Leader of the House Republicans is a good first step. Please email your Republican Legislators and tell them how you feel!

Voters must hold woke liberal government officials and candidates accountable by voting them out of office at ALL levels of government, so their views on education, crime, taxes, the economy, etc. are not allowed to become local community, state and national policies and laws. This is the only way to put an end to the nightmare of this unconstitutional out-of-control radical lawlessness.
