Online voting provider paid for academic research in attempt to sway U.S. lawmakers - Democracy Live directed academic research aimed at demonstrating its product's security and used that material in lobbying campaigns. Article
A Big Thank You to SCRP Secretary Lorilee Gates, who to date, has filed 112 Voter Registration Challenges that (so far) has resulted in 61 registered voters being removed from the Skagit County voter rolls, about a 55% success removal rate! Additionally, 27 of the 112 voters have updated their voter registrations. State law requires that a voter's residential address for voter registration be the voter's permanent physical address.
Registered voters may challenge the registration of another voter by following the voter registration challenge process. State law requires Skagit County Elections to hold hearings to determine the validity of challenged voter registrations. Voter registration challenge hearings are administrative proceedings, not court proceedings, and not criminal action. State Identification no Longer Required for Online Voter Registration in Washington State. A new law is making it easier for Washingtonians to register to vote online if they don't have a driver's license. The law comes from a bill passed in 2023 that went into effect July 15, just in time for this year's primary election earlier this week. Under the new law, people can register to vote with the last four digits of their Social Security number and an uploaded photo of their signature. Article

ALABAMA: A Democratic Party candidate is being charged with a bevy of felony counts, all related to Voter Fraud. According to a news release from the AG's office, a candidate for a commission seat in Clay County, Alabama, was arrested on 7 counts of unlawful use of absentee ballots. Each unlawful use of the ballots comes with a punishment ranging from one to 10 years in prison. The indictment alleges that Heflin falsified applications to vote absentee for multiple people and then used those people’s names to vote for himself by absentee ballot. Article

Kris Jurski explains how dirty voter rolls help steal elections. Mail ballots that can't be delivered because they have bad addresses or the people they are going to have moved away accumulate at the Post Office completely unsupervised in general areas along with all other undeliverable mail.
Postal and election workers are tempted to steal these through the black markets that are run by "Vote Brokers" who buy these available ballots. Another problem is the printers see ALL the bad addresses and people who moved away when they prepare the bulk mailing of ballots. Their employees would also be tempted to sell these as well.
Lastly, election workers are sent out without logs to pick up undeliverable ballots and store them back at the election offices. A single tray of ballots can go for $500 to $2,000, depending on the importance of the race. Video Interview
